F.A.Qs

Q: What’s the adoption process like?
It all starts with a quick online application so we can get to know you better—your lifestyle, experience, and what kind of German Shepherd pup you’re hoping to welcome home. Once we’ve reviewed your information, we’ll schedule a meet-and-greet (either in person or virtually) so you can connect with our puppies and ask any questions. When you find your perfect match, we’ll guide you through the next steps, including paperwork and planning for pickup or delivery. We’re with you every step of the way to make the transition smooth and stress-free.

Q: Can I breed my puppy?
We do not place our German Shepherds in homes for breeding purposes. Every dog in our program is part of a carefully managed lineage, bred with deep consideration for health, temperament, and breed preservation. Ethical breeding requires more than good intentions—it takes years of knowledge, testing, and dedication. We encourage our families to enjoy their German Shepherds as loyal companions, not breeding prospects.

Q: What supplies should I have ready?
To welcome your German Shepherd home, we recommend having high-quality large-breed puppy food, food and water bowls, a secure crate with comfortable bedding, a properly fitted leash and harness, durable chew toys, grooming tools like a slicker brush and nail clippers, potty pads or a plan for outdoor training, and an enzymatic cleaner for little accidents. We’ll also provide a starter pack and personalized tips based on your puppy’s unique personality.

Q: Any tips for house training?
Patience and consistency are your best tools. Take your pup out first thing in the morning, after eating, playing, and before bed. Use a simple phrase like “go potty” and reward them immediately when they get it right. Watch for signs like sniffing or circling—they usually mean it’s time. Keep accidents low-stress: clean up thoroughly and continue encouraging good habits.

Q: Do you offer shipping?
Yes, we do. For families outside our local area, we offer safe transport via trusted pet couriers or airline cargo, depending on the situation. All puppies travel with a health certificate and are kept comfortable in climate-controlled environments. Shipping fees vary, and we’ll work closely with you to go over the details.
